Busy fall/winter season ahead! I'm booked for about a dozen shows between now and mid-December.  I can't believe how quickly my calendar has filled! Tomorrow is Art Beat.  The regional art show/festival in my area.  http://www.artbeatsouthbend.com/ Always interesting, never dull, and it looks like it'll be outside this year instead of cramped inside while it pours rain outside. On the health front, my dr's are getting happier with the test results-- hopefully by this time next year we can say that my lupus is in remission. Home is happy, but a little cramped with all the prints laying around.

I didn't end up breaking even on my little business venture out west, but got some great shots and a book deal. The book is "Changing Bead by Bead" by Eleanor Wiley.  I'm editing the pictures now and would love to have feedback as I put them up: The photos are for chapter breaks: Chapter One: The Secret Life of Beads, Life as an amazing strand of beads. Chapter Two: The Starter Kit Chapter Three:  What Kind of String Material Do You Use? How Do You Walk Through Life? Chapter Four:   Making Choices: How Did These Beads Get On My Strand? Chapter Five: What Do I Do With a Broken Strand? Chapter Six: WHEN WILL MY STRAND BE FINISHED? http

"Reflection: An Image Resource for Worship is an extraordinary collection of photographs captured through the well-trained lens of Sonje Gejji. The images are beautiful and irenic; simple and profound; a visual meditation in their own right, revealing Mrs. Gejji's deeply sacramental understanding of the world around her. This is a welcomed and much needed resource for sacramental and liturgical churches." ~The Very Rev. Brian G. Grantz Dean, The Cathedral of Saint James South Bend, Indiana This can be seen: http://www.deepthought.org/~sonje/ if you click on "Reflection" in the left column.
